I have loosened the cable a little so it moves freely when closed. It sticks a little when I shut the choke off. I will keep an eye on this. However, I think its worthwhile considering these other issues. The "Wärmeproblem" rossinchen describes sounds pretty close to what is happening...

Sorry for writing in English, my Deutsch is too basic...
My poor Schwalbe starts well in the morning but blows a lot of smoke for the first 10 minutes. Later its cleaner but when the engine is hot it dies and wont restart until it is cool.
Any idea what this might be? I changed the spark plug recently to an NGK equivalent but I am not 100% sure it is the right one...could this be it?
